Peace

The message of the incarnation is a message of peace.

Understanding Shalom and ειρηνη

Jesus came to bring us peace.

Jesus died for us to live in peace. 

(Romans 5:1; Colossians 1:20) 

We are instructed to walk in peace. 

(2 Peter 3:14; Ephesians 4:1-3; Hebrews 12:14; Romans 14:19; Colossians 3:15)

We are to be “peacemakers.” 

(Matthew 5:9; Jeremiah 29:4-7)
